So how many of you persons who are in favor of gun control are vegetarians? I believe that the most direct way to encourage peace in our society is to live what Ghandi called "non-violence" and Thich Nat Han calls "mindfulness." The easiest way for me to live each day mindfully and with non-violence is by abstaining from eating animals. I know that the consumption of animals harms the animals, other humans who are exploited in the industries, and the earth itself. Therefore I live most (90%) days on a vegetarian diet. (Sometimes I eat chicken or fish, but rarely. (I also help raise five chickens)). I am also a member of the NRA.

We're going to need those gun for dogs in post apocalyptic America...
