World's Easiest Powered Paragliding / Paramotor / Paraglider/ Paramotoring Equipment!! Flat Top!!! - YouTube

I know special operations units have access to this technology. I bet they have a lithium polymer battery powered unit which is much quieter, and also maybe the sail works as a solar charger for the polymer battery? This sort of technology has all kinds of potential, and it seems really affordable (even a cottage industry of DIY persons). I wonder what kind of unit would be necessary to haul a grenadier or m240 w/ ammo, night vision, ballistic plates, kevlar helmet, water, etc?

Name these parts: Verifone payment module tear down - Hack a Day

Name these parts: Verifone payment module tear down - Hack a Day: "[Jerzmacow] got his hands on this Verifone Vx570 handheld payment terminal at a flea market. It’s got a thermal printer, a magnetic card reader, and then there’s the big LCD screen and buttons. In other words, lots of parts for his hacking amusement. But first, he decided to take a look at the parts that went into the design. He carefully disassembled the device, documenting what he found along the way. He mentions that there’s a switch pressing against the underside of the LCD which disables the hardware when disassembled. So it sounds like he won’t be able to get it to work again (there’s a Lithium battery inside which we’d guess powers some type of hardware kill switch circuit)."

#OWS and USFinAid

‎#OWS was great because it promulgated a wider understanding that banks got bail outs (free money), and students got student loans (which are often a kind of predatory lending by private industry). They (government, one party system) socialized the banking cartels (who already get to charge us to use our own money). Those banks in turn get government (originator of the liquidity to finance the original student loans) to enforce payment on student loans plus interest. The banks are socialized by distributing risk to the polity, but the student loans remain privatized (risk, interest bearing debt) that government even prosecutes on behalf of those banks. #OWS
