Glock 17 T FX® | GLOCK USA

Can't underestimate the value of training. These Glock trainers are top of the line, firing simunitions that replicate most pertinent aspects of firearm force use scenarios. I really want one, but if I ever have the money to get one I would end up using it buy another gun. So it's a conundrum, alas. When will I ever have the interest and finances to get into one of these things? Would be fun, but to be useful wouldn't you need minimum of two? Great for practicing use of deadly force scenarios, and disrarming techniques though.

Anarchist Tradecraft update

SO I was reading on the LA times about the recent string of arsons that have been affecting the LA area. One of the commentators said that the arson was related to a string of arson occurring in Germany.

What may be happening is a very low-tech fire starting technique. Modifying cigarette lighters to burn continuously, then placing the flame in contact with car tires. The tires take about five minutes to start burning profusely, and by then the perpetrators are long gone. The lighters, which are usually the only forensic evidence, are burned beyond recognition. Cars can be target in secluded areas that are not covered by CCTV, so the risk of exposure to detection of the perpetrators is much lower.

Did this anarchist tradecraft hop the pond? Was it carried on the winds of #OWS? Not that OWS supports violence, but the Black Bloc might be spreading a very cost effective arson technique. A burning car is a powerful incendiary in and of itself. The tires can explode, and the gasoline in the tank and fuel lines can contribute to secondary burning of nearby objects, buildings, overhangs, etc.

Apparently someone has now setup a firewatch website.

The Q22SMG2 .22 LR caliber submachine gun...World's Fastest .22 LR SMG? - YouTube

This is an interesting specimen of a .22 caliber pistol. Looks like it works by slam fire open bolt .22. The footage is short, and then they move on to a .50 cal rifle firing, but the initial subject of this post is fascinating. Always on the look out for improvised/prototype "resistance" weapons.

Note that this Q22SMG2 uses what appears to be Ruger Mk II .22 magazines. Nice employment of expedient ready made.

Makarov Arsenal 9x18 pistol

Went by a Gun store while I am on vacation. Got to hold a Makarov imported by Arsenal out of Las Vegas, NV) today. Felt good in the hand, heavy, and the ejection port seemed smaller than I imagined. That said, when I put it into my hand it was love!

I was whisked away, however briefly, to a fantasy as a Russian KGB officer in Saigon shortly after the exodus of US personnel from Vietnam. The gun is heavy enough to meaningfully pistol whip unrecalcitrant imperialist stooges, but light enough to comfortably conceal all day long. The safety was a little gritty to engage, but was solid feeling so that it could be flipped on our off with confidence. The magazine release is at the bottom of the pistol's hilt, not as God intended for John Browning designs but rather as quirky European designers have often done.

At any rate, you won't need to change mags in a hurry as the Soviet works through intrigue, slowley, methodically, like cancer taking it's victim one day at a time. The gun rides comfortably in an open carry holster, or in a concealment holster so as not to scare the whores at the local brothel/opium den. Speaking of opium, the Makarov's safety drops the hammer, so even if your groggy from chasing the dragon you won't accidentally kill the urchin who you've been holding at gun point when you let down the hammer (not like those Czech CZ-82s).

The life of a KGB/Soviet officer is a dangerous affair. The pistol is the constant companion of espionage and intelligence agents. The Makarov pistol is a quality weapon that students of Lenin can have complete confidence in. It is concealable, lightweight (for it's time), mostly snag free exterior, and safe to carry with a round in the chamber (assuming safety engaged of course).

The Makarov is the ideal weapon for holding MI6 "James Bond" agents at gun point with, and then shooting them! Unlike the Ian Fleming novels, the IRL agents of imperialism crumple when a searing hot 9x18 enters their upper intestines. What tragic irony that the West equips it's agents with such quality PPKs and the like, complete with quality brass cased .380 ammo, while the East merely utilizes a chunky, crude-but-reliable copy shooting steel cased 9x18 mak cartridges.

All and all I can say that I really want one of those old, heavy, sturdy 9x18 guns if only to re-live the glory days of Soviet espionage.

The store wanted $299.00 for that particular weapon. It came with two magazines, and a leather holster.

Sheet metal PDW perfection?

Watch "Mini Uzi 9mm Machine Pistol" on YouTube

Fun little short.  I really like the UZI,  mini UZI seems on a whole other level of compactness, and they have a micro UZI even smaller. IWI,  Id like to know their client list. The UZI is a great design because its a combination of good design points from other preexisting designs.

Ah well, a man can dream. Sheet metal perfection probably goes to the Stg44. I wonder if its possible to make an all-sheet metal/stamped gun? Even an all sheet metal barrel could be formed from compressing multiple layers of sheet metal and then electro-welding the barrel over a blank to seal the seams. Probably need a low pressure round like 9mm or. 45 acp.  Though.

Anonymous - Message to the American People - YouTube

I feel that Anonymous represents the founding ideals of liberty, social justice, democracy over and against the Police State and the Military industrial Complex. Anonymous strikes me as having the best chance of waking the American people up from their dogmatic slumber. If there is going to be a social revolution which will restore the constitution and the founding documents, Anonymous is the best of our collective hopes for a better world.

Also, it's impossible to tell if Anon is just a kind of false flag exercise that has broken free of it's handlers and is now totally beyond their control or ability to suppress. It's impossible to tell what the real agenda of this hacker collective is, but we may infer from their official actions that they are working to promote a regime change here in America.

Maybe Anon ops is just a honey pot that the FEDGOV is using to try to surveil and understand how collective, leaderless resistance groups form and operate? How does one verify the motivations and intentions of those they are working with if all persons are anonymous save for a handle? I suppose the answer to that question lies in examining what your comrades do and say habitually, that is to say, how they operate across time and how they justify their actions and what kinds of actions they take.

I want to believe that Anonymous is a collective movement spawned from the obscure corners of the internet. I want to believe that they are elite cadres working diligently in the shadows of the vast and ever expanding IT networks to conduct some kind of operation(s) that will ultimately bring about peaceful (or violent?) revolution in this country and all dictatorships. I am not a hacker, and I don't know enough about computers to even pretend to be one. I do know that from the operations I have studied conducted by Anon, they seem to be genuine. Anon seems to be made-for a type and kind of idealist that so earnestly hopes for a socio-cultural shift (domestically and abroad) through the technologically induced Schwerepunkt Aktion!

If they are the great hoax at the start of the new century promulgated by Governments with too much security and counter terror funds on their hands so be it! They are obviously morphing into something that is unprecedented as far as resistance groups go, and that is their ability to use data networks and computers to achieve political ends by other means. Whether they are real or not doesn't matter, they are the model on which a reality can be based and flourish. It just takes enough dedicated cadres to be inspired, jump on a proxy, and join the raid. For a better world, I hope they are the real deal and I wish them luck. I'll be supporting them in whatever meager way I can.

Gun Pron

While I'm on vacation, I should really avail myself to post some gun pron from this computer.

First up we have a *very* short AUG or AUG clone. Is that a real ACOG sight? Like the Bungee sling.

Must be fun to be over in a warzone and get to play with captured weapons. PPSH is just as good a design today as it was in WWII, and just as mean! Note the EOTECH holo sight attached. How else could you improve on perfection? 7.62x25 TOK is a hell of a round if it's followed by 75 of it's little friends...

Finally we have an S&W M&P pistol. These are great guns, I used to own one but traded it in for a NIB Glock 22. I did like that gun (in .40) and there was nothing wrong with it. Kind of miss it. If I had the money I would totally buy another one after I get a few more things on my list. However, Smith and Wesson's finish isn't all that great, like SIGs, these guns can rust if you turn your back on them for a second.

A.T.F. Eases Rules on Gun Sales to Noncitizens - NYTimes.com

"The announcement drew criticism from some advocates of gun control measures, including Senator Frank R. Lautenberg, Democrat of New Jersey, who said that it “defies common sense and puts Americans at risk” because it could make it easier for foreign terrorists to obtain weapons inside the United States."

New York and New Jeresy are just loathsome states, they have no right to be in the Union. Wherever there is fascism and a reduction of rights and freedom in America there is NJ and NY working to turn this country into gulag. This is a great success for legal aliens, and why not? Why do foreigners come to America if not to enjoy freedoms and protections from states not found anywhere else? The ATF was overstepping it's bounds, and should be sued to the point of being disbanded. The ATF is, like the DEA, goosestepping Hiterlite bureaus. New York and New Jersey are far greater threats to freedom than any enemy we have ever faced, they are the enemy within. New York and New Jersey are betrayers and usurpers of the constitution and it's time people in the rest of the US woke up to that fact. Instead of invading other countries, we need to be executing the politicians of these states and restoring freedom to their citizenry who are, as of those writing, little more than chattel slaves.

A Right To Bear Virtual Arms? - Slashdot

Of course, Bill Gates is a notorious anti-gun scumbag. His fascist support of anti-gun politics even extends to the bizarre, attempting to ban them on X-Box systems. We don't own an XBox, and never will pay that bastard for any software. Why support the scum that promotes politics which are anathema to the US constitution? Billy Gates will never get a dime from me.

A Right To Bear Virtual Arms? - Slashdot:

"In the world of virtual goods, reports GeekWire's Todd Bishop, it looks like there's no such thing as a Second Amendment. According to a forum post by an Epic Games community manager, a new policy will remove 'gun-like' items from Microsoft's Xbox Live Avatar Marketplace on January 1. The policy reportedly applies to accessories for the avatars that represent Xbox Live users, not to games themselves, and owners of virtual weaponry like the Gears of War 3 Avatar Lancerpurchased before the policy goes into effect will be permitted to continue to wield them."

Ron Paul

Gays and racial minorities have never had a better friend than Dr. Paul. Dr. Paul will dismantle the overbearing state (or substantially contribute to slowing it's insidious progress) by getting government out of the "dictating morality" business. By eliminating the drug war (if possible) Dr. Paul will be the new Lincoln who will set free the non-violent offenders who have been denied their constitutional rights and protections under successive criminal political regimes in this country. By getting Government out of marriage business, Dr. Paul will effectively restore the separation clause of the US constitution. So no more state imposed religion (Christianity and Judaism) but under Ron Paul administration Americans will be free to practice their own faith rather than be forced to pay homage to the state sponsored religion. Ron Paul for president! Free the slaves, end the drug war, end state religion, end the cursed FedReserve!

3 Speed Holster with prospects?

An interesting holster design. There are similar, such as the thunderbelt, etc. This one seems to integrate a spare mag very ergonomically, which is a definite plus in my book. I wonder if this is something that they issue the Federal Air Marshalls?

The downside to this demo is that they didn't show concealment of a Glock 19, which is pretty much a standard. The fabric seems sturdy but how long is it going to last with lots of wear? It's got to justify a lot to beat the low price high performance Uncle Mikes IWB holster.

RIDICULOUSLY SENSITIVE
ELECTRIC CHARGE DETECTOR
©1987 William J. Beaty

[SCHEMATIC OF DEVICE](The earth-ground is not required.)
(The 1-Meg resistor is not required.)
This simple circuit can detect the invisible fields of voltage which surround all electrified objects. It acts as an electronic "electroscope."
Regular foil-leaf electroscopes deal with electrostatic potentials in the range of many hundreds or thousands of volts. The above device can detect one volt. Its sensitivity is ridiculously high. Since "static electricity" in our environment is actually a matter of high voltage, this device can sense those high-voltage electrically charged objects at a great distance. On a low-humidity day and with a 1/2 meter antenna wire, its little LED-light will respond strongly when someone combs their hair at a distance of five meters or more. If a metal object is lifted up upon a non-conductive support and touched against the sensor wire, the sensor can detect whether that object has an electrostatic potential of as little as one volt!
  • Note: I use the term "electrification" rather than "charging", in order to avoid confusion between electric charge and net-charge. "Charge" is the stuff on the negative electrons and positive protons, while "net-charge" is the imbalance between positive and negative particles which appears on everyday objects. A avoid saying that everyday objects become electrically charged. After all, their atoms are always full of charges. Instead they become "electrified" whenever their pre-existing + and - charges are not equal.

It’s got a thermal printer, a magnetic card reader, and then there’s the big LCD screen and buttons. In other words, lots of parts for his hacking amusement. But first, he decided to take a look at the parts that went into the design. He carefully disassembled the device, documenting what he found along the way. He mentions that there’s a switch pressing against the underside of the LCD which disables the hardware when disassembled. So it sounds like he won’t be able to get it to work again (there’s a Lithium battery inside which we’d guess powers some type of hardware kill switch circuit)."

#OWS and USFinAid

‎#OWS was great because it promulgated a wider understanding that banks got bail outs (free money), and students got student loans (which are often a kind of predatory lending by private industry). They (government, one party system) socialized the banking cartels (who already get to charge us to use our own money). Those banks in turn get government (originator of the liquidity to finance the original student loans) to enforce payment on student loans plus interest. The banks are socialized by distributing risk to the polity, but the student loans remain privatized (risk, interest bearing debt) that government even prosecutes on behalf of those banks. #OWS

Great video. It's dated, of course, but shows some great footage. Instructional on operational trade craft, such as HRT room entry and prisoner handling, some great mp5 action and also good technique, executed as a result of professional training regime. There is no doubt that this sort of environment can produce an excellent security officer/agent/espionage and counter-intelligence cadre. The para-military aspects of this training regime take it to the next level by assuming an active assault type environment (a shooting match with armed assailants).

This is filed under the important label: tactical operational tradecraft.

Additionally: Tactical radio equipment over-view given by one of their communications supervisors. Interesting view of the options of the period, and an off-the-shelf technical approach. Also present is a freq. hopping PRC-117 military radio integrated into the tactical communications suite. Very impressive overview. Simplified Summary of Microsoft Research’s Bitcoin Paper on Incentivizing Transaction Propagation « coderrr

Simplified Summary of Microsoft Research’s Bitcoin Paper on Incentivizing Transaction Propagation « coderrr:

Interestingly enough, the authors propose a solution:

"Their solution to the Sybil attack is to give 0 reward to all nodes in a chain of forwards if the length of that chain is greater than H. This gives a negative incentive to create fake forwards to yourself in attempt to gain multiple rewards for a single transaction. Your best bet is to forward legitimately to other nodes and hope the transaction reaches a miner who solves it before the number of forwards is greater than H.
The paper determines optimal strategies in terms of values for H and the functions to divide the fee between nodes in the chain. But this is all modeled on directed trees (which have no cycles) rather than a random graph (which is what the Bitcoin network is like in reality) so it’s unknown how well it would work in practice. They leave work on random graphs for future research."

What is New York? Image factory for fascism.

"The raid was nice. First they blocked off all entrance and ext, including the subway (which they shut down). They then told the reporters (and this was verified by CNN staff on the ground) to leave or they would be arrested. Classy.

They surrounded the park. There was a long standoff until a pair of large, white open-bed industrial garbage haulers drove in followed by a trail of police. As protesters shouted obscenities or pleaded, the cops grabbed tents, backpacks, luggage, everything- throwing it all into one big, broken pile.

Then they threw it into the backs of the trucks, swept up what was left and hauled it all off. Meanwhile people were running into the camera guy reporting bludgeoning, people being dragged by their hair or on their faces, tear gas- all in areas that had been swept clear of cameras or reporters. I watched the reports coming in over the chat window. I also watched various people calling in reports from police scanners- Where to avoid. Sometimes one of the possible Anonymous folks would come in with AMBUSH! and street names. It was fascinating and likely a very dumb and expensive way to go about things."

 ---
I think this just goes to show you that New York, and the money lenders in lower manhatten are the real fascists hiding in broad daylight. The globalists, the pro-UN neo-Liberals all issue their marching orders from New York. New York is an image factory that reproduces images of NY, but what is NY politicially? It is a stronghold and bulwark of reactionary corporate oligarchy. It must be resisted by any means necessary. New York is an image factory of fascism.

Concealed Carry in the Wisconsin State Capitol?

I've heard objections to CC in the Capitol of Wisconsin.

What is the presumption here? That some persons would attempt to assassinate an elected official(s)? What is preventing assassination from taking place outside the confines of the capitol complex? Considering that allowing concealed carry holders access to the capitol complex could be construed as security added move, are not said persons (CC permit holders presumably) invested in the safety and indeed the spirit of civilian firearm defense carry about their person? And besides, if someone wants to kill someone in the United States...the presumption that laws are an obstacle to a priori interpersonal violence...seems always and everywhere the hallmark of political naivete.

TERRORISM AND MORALITY Understanding the Language of Terror

"In its modern form, therefore, the language of terrorism has become the rhetorical servant of
the established order, wherever it might be, and however heinous its own activities are.
Talking of ‘terrorism’ in this way flattens the world of international relations, removing all the
subtle peaks and valleys that make up the real life of nations, and reducing the diplomatic map
to a dull, lifeless plain on which are arrayed the huge army of sovereign nations on one side
(the ‘counter-terrorists’) and those who seek change - for whatever reason - on the other (‘theterrorists’). It is obvious that this is a crassly ahistorical account of the world, ignoring how
the various governments and regimes that deploy the language of terrorism in this way
themselves secured power: there is a Cromwell, a Washington, a Mandela or a Mugabe
behind most of today’s political power structures. It is in the inconsistency of its approach to
the use of force for political ends that the language of terrorism most exposes itself to moral
disapprobation."

I know there is already a national center, but it's focus is not primarily on health sciences.

Artificial blood vessels made on a 3D printer

Artificial blood vessels...

Artificial blood vessels made on a 3D printer may soon be used for transplants of lab-created organs.
Until now, the stumbling block in tissue engineering has been supplying artificial tissue with nutrients that have to arrive via capillary vessels.
A team at the Fraunhofer Institute in Germany has solved that problem using 3D printing and a technique called multiphoton polymerisation.
The findings will be shown at the Biotechnica Fair in Germany in October.
Out of thousands of patients in desperate need of an organ transplant there are inevitably some who do not get it in time.
In Germany, for instance, more than 11,000 people have been put on an organ transplant waiting list in 2011 alone.
To make sure more patients receive these life-saving surgeries, researchers in tissue engineering all over the globe have been working on creating artificial tissue and even entire organs in the lab.
But for a lab-made organ to function, it needs to be equipped with artificial blood vessels - tiny and extremely complex tubes that our organs naturally possess, used to carry nutrients.

The individual techniques are already functioning and they are presently working in the test phase”
Dr Gunter TovarFraunhofer Institute, Germany
Numerous attempts have been made to create synthetic capillaries, and the latest one by the German team seems to be especially promising.
"The individual techniques are already functioning and they are presently working in the test phase; the prototype for the combined system is being built," said Dr Gunter Tovar, who heads the BioRap project at Fraunhofer Institute for Interfacial Engineering and Biotechnology IGB in Stuttgart.
Elastic biomaterials
3D printing technology has been increasingly used in numerous industries, ranging from creating clothes, architectural models and even chocolate treats.
But this time, Dr Tovar's team had a much more challenging printing mission.
To print something as small and complex as a blood vessel, the scientists combined the 3D printing technology with two-photon polymerisation - shining intense laser beams onto the material to stimulate the molecules in a very small focus point.
The material then becomes an elastic solid, allowing the researchers to create highly precise and elastic structures that would be able to interact with a human body's natural tissue.
So that the synthetic tubes do not get rejected by the living organism, their walls are coated with modified biomolecules.
Such biomolecules are also present in the composition of the "inks" used for the blood vessel printer, combined with synthetic polymers.
"We are establishing a basis for applying rapid prototyping to elastic and organic biomaterials," said Dr Tovar.
"The vascular systems illustrate very dramatically what opportunities this technology has to offer, but that's definitely not the only thing possible."

Building Blog "The Shape of War"

ARCHITECTURAL CONJECTURE URBAN SPECULATION LANDSCAPE FUTURES BLDGBLOG ("BUILDING BLOG") IS WRITTEN BY GEOFF MANAUGH. THE OPINIONS EXPRESSED ON BLDGBLOG ARE MY OWN; THEY DO NOT REFLECT THE VIEWS OF MY EDITORS, EMPLOYERS, PUBLISHERS, FRIENDS, OR COLLEAGUES, WITH WHOM THIS BLOG IS NOT AFFILIATED.

"As Norfolk says in the BLDGBLOG interview, and which perhaps serves as a useful conceptual umbrella for the entire forthcoming evening:
All of the work that I’ve been doing over the last five years is about warfare and the way war makes the world we live in. War shapes and designs our society. The landscapes that I look at are created by warfare and conflict. This is particularly true in Europe. I went to the city of Cologne, for instance, and the city of Cologne was built by Charlemagne—but Cologne has the shape that it does today because of the abilities and non-abilities of a Lancaster Bomber. It comes from what a Lancaster can do and what a Lancaster can't do. What it cannot do is fly deep into Germany in the middle of the day and pinpoint-bomb a ball bearing factory. What it can do is fly to places that are quite near to England, that are five miles across, on a bend in the river, under moonlight, and then hit them with large amounts of H.E.. And if you do that, you end up with a city that looks like Cologne—the way the city's shaped.

So I started off in Afghanistan photographing literal battlefields—but I'm trying to stretch that idea of what a battlefield is. Because all the interesting money now—the new money, the exciting stuff—is about entirely new realms of warfare: inside cyberspace, inside parts of the electromagnetic spectrum. Eavesdropping, intelligence, satellite warfare, imaging—this is where all the exciting stuff is going to happen in twenty years' time. So I wanted to stretch that idea of what a battleground could be. What is a landscape—a surface, an environment, a space—created by warfare?"

Gunwalker scandal: ATF chief assassin/director out of top job

The corrupt Obama administration refuses to prosecute this criminal Kenneth Melson for his presiding over the deaths of innocents on both sides of the border. The Obama administration handed down 'Fast and Furious' as a means to gain political support for a renewed push on the despised Clinton era assault weapons ban. Obama and his minions have no scruples when it comes to the setup.

Does it really surprise us that the director of the ATF who has blood on his hands will not be prosecuted by the executive branch? Just like Janet Reno was not executed for her criminal actions against the Branch Davidians and Ruby Ridge incident, so another ATF scum-scoundrel-murder is let off the hook by an illegal administration. We can only hope that Ron Paul will get elected and disband this criminal para-military execution force known as the ATF. If the ATF were disbanded that *might* stave off another US civil war.

Us widens Drug war: hosts mexico miltary on us soil

US WIDENS WAR

This is a violation of both country's national sovereignty. Is it possible that Mexican para military police units are off loaded from these helicopters, then American special forces loaded, and carry out the missions then return? Since the operations are conducted to maximize the anonymity of the partcipants how would anyone know? Furthermore, such operations so conducted beg the question of accountability? This is the creation of a secret military police state force that is answerable to no one. This sort of tactic is likely evolving for use against US insurgents when the uprising begins in the states.

LSD lab busted?

So the title claims an LSD lab but sounds more like a distribution ring. The media and the security apparatus tend to inflate these things but let's face it: LSD synthesis is very complex.

August 27, 2011 3:00 a.m. Indictments for 2 in N. Anthony LSD lab

The Journal Gazette

A federal grand jury indicted a Fort Wayne couple on three counts related to the distribution of LSD.

This month, James B. Nelson, 29, and Stefanie Redfern, 22, both of the 1800 block of North Anthony Boulevard, were arrested by federal agents.

Inside their apartment, investigators found little bags full of powders, various pills in a variety of colors, a hydraulic pill press, bags of cash, and a clear plastic bag with about a pound of a brown crystalline substance, according to court documents.

The pair were indicted on two counts of distributing less than 10 grams but more than 1 gram of LSD and one count of distribution of less than 10 grams but more than 1 gram of LSD and ketamine, according to court documents.

The grand jury also indicted Redfern on a single count of profiting from the use of a building for distribution of controlled substances.

As part of the indictment, the government seeks the forfeiture of scales, computer equipment, a heat sealer, the hydraulic pill press and $123,647 in cash.

VLAN

LiNUX Horizon - VLAN - Virtual Local Area
Network

Short for Virtual Local Area Network (Virual LAN, IEEE 802.1q), a network of computers that behave as if they are connected to the same wire even though they may actually be physically located on different segments of a LAN. VLANs are configured through software rather than hardware, which makes them extremely flexible. One of the biggest advantages of VLANs is that when a computer is physically moved to another location, it can stay on the same VLAN without any hardware reconfiguration and you can have multiple networks on the same cable without having them interfere each other. It is similar to having one cable for every network.

Revolution or Retribution?

I know that often when I speak about revolution what I am really talking about is retribution, as are many so-called "revolutionary minded persons" today. But if you are planning revenge on the old system for any number of grievances, then this boss is same as the old boss. First, we take into consideration the words of the Dali Lama who advises against violence since it so easily gets out of control. Second, we recall that draconian measures and punitive "mean spirited" legal trappings are the reserve of the old system, the system that true revolution seeks to replace.

It is tempting to design a state within a state to punish the old (state) apparatus, but when the offenders of the old regime are finished, who will this 'apparatus of vengeance' seek next? Will it go away quietly or will it persist parallel to any new social order, and in effect, rain down an arbitrary and cruel order every bit as capricious as the old order it purports to replace? We must endeavor to replace the old order without falling into the trap of seeking revenge.

If we are to truly create a revolutionary order that is worthy-to-replace the old, then this order must be more tolerant, less violent, and overall more willing to forgo violence and punishment as a means to social control. Otherwise the revolution will spoil quickly, and it will become as hated and despised as the old order, engendering neither love nor willingness to defend that order by the common citizen. And there will be dark days for any new revolutionary order, and those are the times when the love of the people is more important than their fear and certainly more useful than their resentment.
