Explore P38M4PK inhibitor SK-202190 on C6 cell biological activity. Methods TEM method and DNA agarose gel electrophoresis to observe SB-202190-induced apoptosis of glioma cells; application of flow cytometry cell cycle changes and whether apoptosis. Results concentrations were 10,20,40 μmol · L ^ -1 of SB-202190 can promote smooth cell cycle progression from G1 to S phase over; but 60μmol · L ^ -1 of SB-202190 was smooth induction of apoptosis apoptosis rate was positively correlated with time, TEM observation showed that apoptotic cell shrinkage, nuclear uptake reduced, chromatin condensation gathered in the nuclear membrane, cytoplasm concentrated, and some cell chromatin condensation to the nuclear envelope under a crescent-shaped; agarose gel electrophoresis showed characteristic DNA "ladder" belt. Conclusions SB-202190 at low concentrations to promote the proliferation of C6 cells, higher concentrations induced apoptosis.
